The Midway State-That Much Closer video shoot August 29, 2011

I saw a post about The Midway State doing a 'That Much Closer' video shoot for their song Atlantic on Facebook. My friend and I were going to Toronto for the CNE and it happened to be the day before, so we signed up to go. That Much Closer are short videos done by Much Music to show the artist in a cool way. This video was a flash mob of the chorus of the song.

We went to the video shoot which was at a Toronto park, signed in and waited for a bit till we got to practice the dance with the whole group. After practicing a couple times we went over to where the stage was, which was where we were filming. We all got in place, probably at around 8pm and were there till about 1am.

We did that dance more times than I could count. We had done it slow, fast, normal, for an arial view... just about every way that you could. It was a ton of fun and I don't think I will ever forget that dance. After the video shoot we got to hang out with the band, have pizza and drinks. It was great to talk to all the guys and get pictures, they're super nice and love talking to fans. By the time we were finished hanging out and actually got back to our hotel it was around 2am. We were tired from dancing all night but we had to get our stuff ready for the CNE which we had to wake up for in a couple of hours. We finally got to bed, had a short sleep and then woke up to get ready for DWW at the CNE which will be my blog post next week.
