Addicted to the Lights and the Sounds: Enrique Iglesias Concert

Even with a fever of over 100 Enrique Iglesias came on after having Mohombi open for him, giving an amazing show. Enrique is an artist that truly cares about his fans and what they do. He was sick with a fever, told not to play his show, but refused. He knew that a stadium full of people from all over had traveled to his only Canadian tour date to see him perform.

He played an amazing show with all his hit songs. I don't think he has a single song that I don't like, even the spanish ones which I don't understand. He has so much passion and soul in his music and how he went about making his career really shows his personality.

After playing a passionate, energetic show it was on to the meet and greet. I have always loved Enrique's music and had never met him before. Meeting him was indescribable, he was so nice and laid back and cared about spending time with everyone. I got a picture with him and he signed a drawing I drew of him. When I gave him a copy of the picture he thanked me and kissed me on the cheek. It may sound silly and completely girly of me but it was amazing! It's not every day that Enrique Iglesias kisses you on the cheek, I didn't even care that he was sick.

It was an incredible show and an even more amazing time meeting him and thankfully I didn't even get sick.
