Most recent Down With Webster concert - Belleville January 24th 2012

What’s better than seeing your favorite band? Seeing your favorite band backstage and side stage. It’s a different kind of amazing to see how they are, literally right before the show. Getting to experience a concert on stage with the band makes you feel like part of it.

The last Down With Webster show I went to was January 24th and my friends and I were backstage and then side stage. We got to hang out in the dressing room, talk to the guys before and after the show and see how everything works from a different perspective. Out of my three friends and myself we have been to our fair share of DWW concerts, so it was really cool for us to get to do something so different.

Down With Webster is known for their live shows and that is part of the reason I have been to so many. As always they lived up to the expectations and put on an amazing show. Their shows are filled with so much energy and passion that you can feel when they perform. They can make everyone in the venue feel like the music is connecting to them and the crowd participates with everything that they do. You will never be to a Down With Webster concert that is not filled with the dedication they have for the music they create.

This concert also had two opening bands. OCD: Moosh & Twist and USS: Ubiquitous Synergy Seeker. Huge thank you to USS because that's how we ended up getting backstage. Those guys are so nice and are incredible performers.

Here's a video from the concert of the song 'Staring at the Sun'

Here are some pictures from the show:

  1. That's awesome !

Last year my best friend and I won this contest to be on stage with Hedley as a part of their "Cha-ching choir". The group of winners got a VIP party beforehand hosted by Monster, and private performances from Boys Like Girls, Fefe Dobson, and Stereos. Then we got to go backstage - not to mention ON. After Hedley, we were in the stands. But it was amazing to have that experience.
